Introduction

SilverStone Tek has been increasing their presence in not only HTPC cases but also with various cooling accessories. The FM84XW fan is a manually adjustable speed high CFM fan that is designed to keep up with even the hottest of CPU cores. The 80mm fan size allows for it to be used as either a case fan or as replacement CPU fan for some heat sinks.

Looks

The fan itself does not look like your average fan. First thing it is white and has three large blades. It is slightly deeper than an average case fan too. The fan also comes with a speed controller that fits into a 3.5" bay slot. The controller is made of brushed aluminum and looks very classy. The speed nob is very smooth and also stays right where you leave it.
