What's inside the SST-LC01

The shipping box was quite large and I was curious to see just how big the case would be. Being shipped through a few states the box had a couple bent corners but the case is carefully protected with several inches of padding and empty space on all sides -- I doubt rarely, if ever, a case damaged when shipped. As I went to pick up the box I thought to brace myself from experience with other HTPC cases. Luckily I had a quick response because I was quite shocked to find out it weighed almost nothing. Aluminum is a great material for cases. It is not as strong but it isn't a problem for this case.

Inside the large box is the very carefully wrapped mid-size HTPC case. This case was protected from even human touch beside it being well packed for shipping. The brushed aluminum front bezel had a tape film to protect it. All the doors were taped shut in several places to keep the doors from having any chance of being opened or bent.

At first glance you may think the case is a high-end audio amplifier or power conditioner by the polished aluminum bezel and the lack of a display. You may miss the power button at first glance but like all Audio/Video equipment it is located on the left side. There are also 2 LED's for the Power light and HDD Light. There is no reset switch though.
