The LC01 has two doors that open up to reveal either the 5.25" bays on top or the 3.5" bays, audio, USB, and Firewire ports. The doors are not even visible regardless of how close you look. You just have to know that if you push on the top or the middle of the case they will open -- I think this is kind of fun. One thing I would change is to put the HDD LED inside here and also include a reset switch right by the USB, Audio, and Firewire ports.

The back of the LC01 looks like your average case back except the unusually large cut out for the power supply back. The single case fan is placed close to the power supply to help pull the hot air from the CPU directly out of the case. There is plenty of room to the right of the case fan which is a popular place to add another case fan without much effort or having to worry about the case finish.

The sides of the case has venting holes in a good location that do a fairly good job at moving air by your 5.25" and 3.5" drives to keep them cool. Even if you added higher CFM fans it would take quite a bit before these venting holes had problems allowing enough air through or starting to cause any air noise. I personally would have liked to see the venting holes up closer to the front of the case to reduce the chance of a dead air hot spots.

The bottom of the case quickly gives you an idea of how many sizes and types of motherboards this case will support. The standing feet on this case are at a good height which help let air move below the case if you stack the LC01 on other Audio/Video equipment. The feet also give you a the look of importance rather than a flat bottom case sitting in your stereo cabinet.
