The top of the case is casual. There are not any venting holes but the way this case is designed to channel air it is probably better this way. The case top is held on by 4 screws on the back of the case. unfortunately SilverStone does send thumb screws that we are all growing to love. The case top is extremely light and you should be a little careful where you grab on to it because the case guides that rest on the case bottom can bend if you squeeze them; but they do bend back just fine.

To have a strong but light weight case there is a beam that runs from the front to back of the case. This makes the case more solid than you will need and it very easy to work around and never got in my way.

The two drive holders in the front of the case are identical. You can fit 2 5.25" drives and 6 3.5" drives in this system very easily.
