Conclusion

The simple fact is I'm quite impressed. The Antec True Power line of PSU's is highly famed for it's stability and beats almost every othe PSU on the market, but when loading both PSU's up with hardware, which they both are capable of running within spec, the ST46F is much more stable on voltage rails. The ST46F is also closer to the rails in more voltages than the True Power 380.

The cons to pick out from the ST46F are that it takes more power from the wall because it is a higher rated Wattage, it is slightly louder than silent PSU's (But silent doesn't move air, which is needed anyway for cooling other components), and it is not the cheapest PSU on the market (But not the most espensive either). You also will need to make sure that the case you get supports the full power supply cut out in the back so the PSU can vent correctly. The easiest way of making sure is to get one of high quality SilverStone's cases, but that isn't your only option.

The ST46F a great power supply that you can trust with you hardware. It has plenty of power for anything you can fit in a HTPC case and room left to over clock and still run a stable system.

Thank you to SilverStone Tek for allowing me to review this product.
